New Staff Members Join Ellis Team

The Ellis School welcomes four new staff members for the 2023–2024 school year. Each holds strong ties to the Pittsburgh area and brings to their roles extensive experience with educational institutions and in their individual fields.
"I couldn’t be more excited about the addition of these four outstanding individuals to our team at Ellis. Each of them brings wonderful experience in their fields and a real commitment to our school mission,”  says Head of School Macon Finley. "We are very lucky to have them as new members of the Ellis community.”

Olivia Altman joins the Enrollment Management team as Assistant Director of Admission, Lower School. She holds a B.A. in Communication from the University of Pittsburgh. Most recently, Olivia worked in the Office of Admission at Carnegie Mellon University and previously worked in the admission offices of Point Park University and at St. Edmund’s Academy as Manager of Admissions. 

Emily Chierici joins the Advancement team as Database and Gift Manager. Emily, a life-long Pittsburgher, earned her B.A. in History from Penn State University. She comes to Ellis from Phipps Conservatory where, over the past six years, she has worked in children's programming, administration, membership, and most recently development. Emily has more than a decade of experience in nonprofit work, primarily in social services and museums. In her free time, she enjoys studying history and is the secretary for the Lawrenceville Historical Society. She has a  two-year-old daughter who she hopes will attend Ellis soon!

Jamie Earnest joins the Marketing and Communications office as the Social Media and Content Specialist. Raised in rural Alabama, Jamie completed her B.F.A. at Carnegie Mellon University and has lived in Pittsburgh for several years. She previously served as Content Creation and Communications Coordinator for Associated Artists of Pittsburgh and has experience teaching, as well as in various aspects of marketing. An active painter and sculptor, Jamie’s recent exhibitions include Exclamation Point, Union Hall, Denver, CO; Thicker Than a Sticker, Vulcan Materials Gallery, Birmingham, AL; Heat Wave, Cindy Lisica Gallery, Houston, TX; Memory Palace, Equity Gallery, New York, NY, and Private Spaces and Public Personas, The Andy Warhol Museum, Pittsburgh, PA.

Elisa Lucke joins the Advancement team as the Alumnae Coordinator. She holds an M.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University and a B.S. in Cell Biology and Biochemistry from Bucknell University. She previously worked as a consultant, and later as a financial manager, in the healthcare industry and has most recently held the position of Chief Operating Officer for Squirrel Hill Health Center, an organization she served for nine years. Her daughter, Emilia, is an Ellis student in the Class of 2036.
